She currently serves as a consultant for many of the country’s leading treatment centers to train their clinical teams.

In 2010, was awarded the ACATA – Administrator of the Year Annual Award for her significant achievement in the field of addiction treatment administration. Shortly thereafter, she was selected as the 2012 Behavioral Healthcare Champion in recognition of her life-changing therapy, services, and support to Americans who suffer from mental health and substance abuse disorders.

Judy believes that persistent addictions, chronic relapse and repetitive self-sabotage are often the result of unresolved trauma. Healing occurs when we identify the “root cause” of addiction.  She often says, “You have to unravel the trauma story to understand the addiction story and write the recovery story.”

Her passion and purpose have collided.

Kat Cross, CTP - Creator of Possibilities

Kat Cross, originally a Chicagoan, studied Psychology, Recreation Parks & Tourism and Theatre at Western Illinois University. Additionally, Kat is a veteran and served in the Army National Guard for 10 years. After college, she worked abroad in the United Kingdom for several years serving the United States Navy and Royal Air Force as the Director of the Navy’s LIBERTY Program.

Kat comes to Spirit2Spirit Healing with nearly 15 years of Admissions and Marketing experience. Introduced to the behavioral health field by answering a classified ad for Teacher/Mentor at the San Cristobal Treatment Center, here was where she found her calling to help bring possibility and recovery to wounded people. As the Director of Admissions and Marketing she was able to assist the entire family system and network with other professionals by visiting other treatment centers and attending industry conferences. After several years Kat was recruited to work as a National Account Executive for Calloway Labs. While working in toxicology she was exposed to the ugly side of this field and with a little help from her friend Judy Crane, she decided to start her own company, Cross Consulting Marketing. This gave her the freedom to choose who she would associate with and be able to work with only the most ethical and authentic people in the industry. This also afforded her the opportunity to spend more time with her new daughter Skyler and loving husband, Matt.

Currently, Kat Lives in Taos, NM with them. She is proud to represent Spirit2Spirit Healing and continue to help people experience the incredible healing that is happening. As a trauma survivor herself, Kat has a deep passion for serving our population and creating possibility for those who are wounded.
